Easy Tiramisu Recipe
Tiramisu is a coffee-flavored dessert from Italy. It is made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a creamy mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone cheese.

Ingredients
For the cream:
- 6 egg yolks
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups mascarpone
For the assembly:
- 1 3/4 cup strong coffee, cooled
- 2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 35-40 ladyfingers
- 1-2 ounces bittersweet chocolate for shaving, optional
Directions
1Quickly dip half of the ladyfingers one at a time into the coffee. Do not leave them in there too long, the are porous and fall apart easily. Arrange a layer of the coffee dipped ladyfingers into a 9×13 casserole.
2Using a blender mix together the egg yolks and the sugar until it turns pale and doubles in volume. Add the mascarpone and beat until well incorporated.
3In a separate bowl beat the heavy whipping cream until it creates a peak. Using a spatula fold in the heavy whipping cream into the mascarpone mixture until incorporated.
4Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly onto the ladyfingers. Dip the remaining ladyfingers into the coffe and arrange another layer onto the creamy layer. Spread remaining cream.
5Dust the top layer with the cocoa powder before serving.
